Who We Are

Lily Valdez

CEO Sunlily Energy & Co-Founder of Women United By Solar

I’ve been in the solar and energy efficiency industry for 8 years and love it! It’s my passion to help homeowners transition to clean, renewable energy. With solar, homeowners enjoy a fixed, lower power bill, increase the value of their home and take control back by owning, not renting, their power while contributing to saving our planet.

I co-founded an organization called Women United By Solar to promote gender equality and diversity in the solar industry. Being in a predominantly male industry, we want to create a safe space for women to have access to training, development, support and women empowering women. We have a sisterhood and place for women to grow and learn together.

WUBS host weekly Clubhouses, Zooms and have a Facebook Group “Women United By Solar” to catch up, provide value and promote inclusivity by having our clubhouses and zooms open to all genders. Our Women United By Solar Mastermind Event is in Orange County, CA on August 20-22, 2021. Message me for more details if you are interested in attending.

Frequently Asked
Questions

How will potential customers find my commercial charging station?
You can find all of our public charging stations, along with our partner stations, on the EVgo app, via Plugshare, Waze, Google, and Apple maps.
How long will it take to charge my EV at a commercial solar EV charging station?
Charging time varies for each session and depends on factors such as your EV type, battery age, and weather conditions. Many modern EVs can reach up to an 80% charge in about 30 minutes using our Ultra-Fast chargers. Check your owner's manual or specifications of the vehicle online to find your battery capacity in kilowatt-hours (kWh). Remember, the higher the kW, the faster the charge.
